The Standard edition is free. Upgrade to Pro only when you need indexed files or embedded SQL. A Pro license carries over to future versions.
What you get
Pro adds exactly two things
The core of COBOL runs without restriction in the Standard edition. What is paid for is indexed file support and embedded SQL.

About pricing
Prices exclude consumption tax; the amount in parentheses includes it. A ¥190 convenience-store payment fee and bank transfer fees may apply separately.

How to upgrade
How the upgrade works
Purchase a license
Start from the purchase button for the license you want. Please read the license agreement first.
Receive your activation code
An activation code arrives by email along with the payment confirmation. Issuance can take from a few hours to a few days.
Get the Standard edition
If you have not downloaded it yet, get the Standard edition from the download page.
Activate in the product
Launch SIT COBOL and choose Help → Activation. Enter your email address and activation code, then press Run to upgrade to the Pro edition.
